Bai Delivers Plenary Talk at Chinese Control Conference

Er-Wei Bai, professor and departmental executive officer of electrical and computer engineering, was featured in a recent issue of IEEE Control

Systems Magazine on a plenary talk he presented at the 33rd Chinese Control Conference.

His talk was on "Big Data: The Curse of Dimensionality and Variable Selection of Identification."

The Chinese Control Conference is an annual international conference started in 1980, sponsored by the Chinese Association of Automation and co-sponsored by the IEEE Control Systems Society.  The conference was attended by more than 2,000 experts from 27 countries.
