Two alumni of the UI Electrical and Computer Engineering Department are recipients of the Dean's Award.
They are Greg Dils (BSE 1998 in Electrical Engineering, Director of Software Development, Innomatix, Coralville, IA, and Steve Davis (MS 2003 in Electrical and Computer Engineering, President and Co-founder, BIO::NEOS, Inc.

Davis was given the Dean's Award for Entrepreneurial Leadership, presented to alumni and non-alumni for exceptional achievement and leadership in creating and inspiring the principles of innovative, entrepreneurial spirit -- setting an extraordinary example for aspiring students, dedicated faculty and staff, and fellow alumni of The University of Iowa College of Engineering.
Both have been invited to conduct a seminar at the college on a future date.
