Engineering Alumnus Roach to Address Student Class September 27

Engineering alumnus Mark Roach (BSE 1992 electrical engineering) will address first-year students attending the Engineering Success class at 9:30 a.m. September 27 in Stanley Auditorium, 1505 Seamans Center.

Roach is MRD 3M ERP global deployment manager, Benelux manufacturing lead, chemical lean value stream in St. Paul, MN, and serves as 3M club vice president.

His talk will be on diversity for engineering excellence.

As a Six Sigma Black Belt, Roach has added value to more than 30 projects and taught nearly 200 modules of DFSS Six Sigma to 3M employees around the world.

3M has been widely recognized for the strength and impact of its diversity programming.  Recent recognitions include:
